Yesterday was truly a technological experience for VÍTKOVICE IT SOLUTIONS! 🌟
The Technology Workshop 2025 took place in the multifunctional Gong Hall in the Dolní Vítkovice area in Ostrava, bringing together experts, partners, and participants from various corners of the IT world.
This workshop focused on the latest innovations, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and other current topics affecting the industrial IT environment. It provided a fantastic space for knowledge sharing and inspiration for all participants interested in the latest developments in technology and IT.
What Happened?
The entire program was filled with interesting and valuable presentations covering a wide range of topics. Attendees learned more about advanced technologies that are shaping the future of IT today. The main topics of the day were:
SIEM and XDR protections, presented by Jiří Schäfer, a cybersecurity specialist.
Sophos and effective IT infrastructure protection.
Microsoft Azure Arc for SQL Server cost optimization.
Cybersecurity grants.
In addition to technical presentations, we were introduced to practical tools for ensuring security and efficiency in network operations, including products from Trellix, Flowmon, DELL MDR, and Check Point. Each of these presentations offered valuable insights and practical advice on how to improve security and operational processes within the IT environment.

Networking and Inspiration Every Step of the Way
In addition to the expert presentations, the day also provided opportunities for informal meetings and networking, which helped to foster connections between participants and service providers. Many attendees took advantage of this opportunity to share experiences and establish new business relationships.
After the official program concluded, we moved to the ground-floor spaces for a guided tour of the current exhibition "Professor and Student: Max Švabinský and Helena Salichová" at the Gong Gallery in Dolní Vítkovice. This cultural part of the workshop added a new dimension to the day. To wrap up, we all gathered for an afterparty where interesting conversations and further knowledge-sharing took place.
