The year 2024 was a significant period for VITSOL as we had the honor of participating in several exciting projects. At the end of last year, we successfully completed one of the major projects in the field of public safety – the implementation of a new operations center for the Emergency Medical Service of the Zlín Region (ZZS ZK), which marks an important milestone for us.
Implementation of the New Operations Center
Our task was to ensure the technological aspect of the project, which included the design, supply, and implementation of hardware and software for the new modern operations center. This center ensures efficient management of emergency operations across the Zlín Region, enabling quick and coordinated responses in critical situations.
As part of this project, we modernized existing systems and implemented new technologies, significantly improving the capacity and flexibility of operations. Our goal was not only to increase the efficiency of interventions but also to ensure that the operations center would be able to respond to the growing needs and new challenges in the field of public safety.
One of the key technological steps was the implementation of the SIP protocol for receiving emergency calls. As a result, ZZS ZK became the first emergency service in the Czech Republic to adopt this technology. The SIP protocol enables fast and high-quality communication, which is crucial for effective management of emergency operations during critical moments.

SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is an internet protocol that enables efficient transmission of phone and video calls over the internet. In the context of emergency calls, SIP ensures fast and high-quality connection between the operator and the caller, which reduces response times and improves communication.
